Hype and Vice is a fast growing apparel brand located in Downtown, Los Angeles. Hype and Vice combines on-trend fashion with University brands to create apparel women will actually want to wear. Hype and Vice was created to fill the gap in the market of boring traditional male dominated college apparel and offer quality pieces for incoming freshman's to young alumni. And we don’t plan stopping there, we see an opportunity to fill this same gap in professional sports. Lots of room for growth!

The Role ✨

We’re looking for an experienced Brand Designer to drive the end-to-end design look and feel Hype and Vice. You’ll be the first full-time brand designer on the team.

Hype and Vice has an immediate opening for a Brand Design Position. Responsible for adapting a brand strategy for the company's target market and maintaining brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the design direction and execution of Hype and Vice brand design strategy
Development and execute efforts that strongly resonate with a range of audiences while maintaining consistency for the brand
Develop original breakthrough ideas for a variety of touch-points across print, retail, packaging, OOH, events & experiential, digital, social media, and motion
Execute on strong conceptual and expressive brand design across all surfaces where we operates
Sketch, ideate, and generate new concepts quickly based on trends, new style launches and self-driven research - and get your hands dirty where needed
Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of co-workers and retailers breaking down complex briefs into simple, compelling ideas and highly-engaging, world-class design
